1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or using The MDT, AI Clinical Simulation, course materials, digital resources, videos, PDFs, assessments, feedback tools, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not create an account or use our services.
2. About The MDT
The MDT provides digital educational resources for healthcare students, trainees, clinicians, educators, and organisations. Our services may include AI-supported clinical simulation, OSCE practice, structured feedback, clinical learning materials, digital courses, and related educational tools.
3. Educational Use Only
The MDT and AI Clinical Simulation are designed for education, training, reflection, and examination preparation. They are not medical devices, clinical decision-making systems, or substitutes for professional judgement.
You must not rely on our platform as the sole basis for diagnosing, treating, or managing real patients. Always follow local clinical guidelines, professional standards, supervision arrangements, and your own clinical judgement.
4. AI-Generated Content and Clinical Accuracy
Some parts of the platform may use artificial intelligence to generate responses, feedback, explanations, or simulated clinical interactions. AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate in some circumstances.
We aim to provide high-quality educational content, but we do not guarantee that all outputs will be clinically complete, current, or error-free. Users remain responsible for critically appraising all content and applying appropriate professional judgement.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the platform lawfully, responsibly, and for legitimate educational purposes only. You must not:
- Use the platform for fraudulent, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unlawful activity.
- Misrepresent your identity, role, qualifications, institution, or level of clinical competence.
- Share your account, login details, activation codes, or paid access with another person unless authorised.
- Attempt to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute our content or software.
- Upload or transmit harmful code, malware, spam, or disruptive material.
- Use the platform in a way that could compromise patient safety, confidentiality, or professional standards.
6. Professional Conduct
Users are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. Harassment, hate speech, discriminatory behaviour, threats, abuse, or deliberate misuse of the platform may result in suspension or termination of access.
7. Patient Confidentiality
You must not enter identifiable patient information into the platform unless you have appropriate lawful authority and consent to do so. This includes names, dates of birth, NHS numbers, addresses, photographs, or any other information that could identify a real patient.
If you use the platform for reflection, teaching, simulation, or case discussion, you are responsible for ensuring that any clinical information is appropriately anonymised.
8. Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure. You must not share your login details or allow another person to access the platform through your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts where we suspect unauthorised access, account sharing, misuse, or breach of these Terms.
9. Activation Codes and Course Access
Activation codes may be issued for specific courses, organisations, pilots, cohorts, promotions, or institutional access arrangements. Codes may be restricted by course, user, organisation, expiry date, number of uses, or other access conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or revoke activation codes that are misused, shared without permission, obtained improperly, or issued in error.
10. Payments, Subscriptions, and Digital Content
Where paid access is offered, prices, access periods, features, and course availability will be shown at the point of purchase or registration. Access may begin immediately after payment, subscription, or activation.
Because our products include digital educational content that may be accessed immediately, refunds may not be available once access has started, unless required by law or agreed by The MDT.
11. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including AI Clinical Simulation interactions, clinical stations, cases, scripts, checklists, marking schemes, feedback formats, written materials, images, videos, PDFs, software, branding, design, and course resources, is owned by The MDT or licensed for use by The MDT.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, publish, upload, scrape, modify, or create derivative products from our materials without prior written permission.
12. Organisational and Pilot Use
Where access is provided through an employer, university, NHS organisation, training programme, pilot, or institutional partnership, additional rules may apply. These may include limits on access, reporting, evaluation, feedback collection, or use of anonymised performance data for quality improvement and educational evaluation.
13. Platform Availability
We aim to provide reliable access to the platform, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, technical faults, internet issues, third-party systems, or events outside our control.
14. Changes to Content and Services
We may update, modify, add, or remove features, courses, resources, pricing, or access arrangements at any time. We may also update clinical or educational content to reflect changes in guidance, curriculum requirements, or platform development.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The MDT is not responsible for clinical decisions, examination outcomes, professional consequences, loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, data loss, or any direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
16. Reporting Issues
If you identify a clinical error, safety concern, technical issue, inappropriate output, or suspected misuse of the platform, please contact us at admin@tmdtai.com.
17. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, share access without permission, act unlawfully, or use the service in a way that may harm The MDT, other users, patients, organisations, or the integrity of the platform.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be displayed on this page. Continued use of The MDT after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless another jurisdiction is required by law.
